THE CONTINUE BLOG..

“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ…”           PHIL.1:6

GOOD EVENING MY FELLOW BROTHERS AND SISTERS. AS YOU CAN SEE IT’S ALREADY TIME FOR OUR NEXT BLOG. THIS ONE I WILL CALL THE STUDENT’S CONTINUING TEACHING BLOG. THIS IS BECAUSE IT RELATES TO THE LAST ONE WHICH WAS ABOUT THE BETHEL STUDENTS TEACHING.

WE ALL KNOW THAT IF WE ARE DOING THE LORD’S WORK THERE WILL BE OBSTACLES TO FACE. THIS PAST MONTH THE MINISTRY HAS BEEN UNDER ATTACK. THE STUDENTS AND I WERE SICK, I’VE   NOT HAD ENOUGH TIME TO FINISH THIS BLOG AND DISCOURAGEMENT FROM EVERYONE. WE ALSO KNOW AS THE SCRIPTURE SAYS:

“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.”         1 COR.15:58

BEING IN HAITI IS LIKE GOING TO SCHOOL ALL OVER AGAIN, ESPECIALLY THE SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE. THE WAY OUR LORD IS PRESERVING ME, TALKING TO ME AND LETTING ME SEE A LOT OF SPIRITUAL EFFECTS IS ALL NEW TO ME. AS I WAS READING         LUKE 9:57 (PAY CLOSE ATTENTION MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS) THIS IS WHAT THE LORD SAYS:

“And as they were going along the road, someone said to Him, ‘I will follow you wherever You go.’ Jesus said to him, ‘Foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.’ And He said to another, ‘Follow Me.’ But he said, ‘Permit me first to go and bury My father.’ But He said to him, ‘Allow the dead to bury their own dead, but as for you, go and proclaim everywhere the kingdom of God.’ And another also said, ‘I will follow You, Lord, but first permit me to say goodbye to those at home.’ But Jesus said to him, ‘No one after putting his hand to the plow and looking back is fit for the kingdom of God”

AMEN:

THIS IS A PICTURE OF OUR DEAR BROTHER ANTOINE WHO IS ONE OF OUR LEAD PEOPLE. HE HAS BEEN WITH US SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THE SCHOOL MINISTRY AND THE KINGDOM KIDS. HE HAS BEEN WORKING HARD TO KEEP THINGS IN ORDER. HE HAS ALSO BEEN WORKING WITH THE KIDS A LOT TO PREPARE THINGS BEFORE I ARRIVED. I LIKE TO CALL HIM MY CO- ADMINISTRATOR OF THE MINISTRY. HE ALSO HAS A PASTORAL CALL ON HIS LIFE AND A WONDERFUL GIFT OF TEACHING. I CAN SEE SUCH SPIRITUAL GROWTH IN HIM! MAY GOD BLESS HIM AND KEEP HIM.  AS YOU CAN SEE IN THIS PICTURE BELOW, HE IS TEACHING HIS FIRST BETHEL CLASS. HE ALLOWED THE HOLY SPIRIT TO LEAD SO THAT OUR LORD COULD USE HIM IN A MIGHTY WAY.::Picture2

IN THE NEXT PICTURE: THIS STUDENT HAS ME SO OVERWHELMED… JUST TO SEE THE POWER OF ONE MAN’S OBEDIENCE TOWARDS A MINISTRY. I STARTED WITH WORDS. I HAD SUCH LITTLE FAITH AND AT THAT TIME COULD NOT FIGURE OUT HOW GOD WAS GOING TO SEND ME TO HAITI TO START THIS IMPOSSIBLE TASK. THIS BROTHER IS ALSO MY FLESHLY OLDER BROTHER WHOSE NAME IS MICHELET. YOU ALL KNOW HIM MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS.   HE CAME TO VISIT US. THE IMPACT OF WATCHING HIM FOLLOW GOD IS INCREDIBLE. HE HAS BECOME MY STUDENT IN THE HUMILITY OF THE LORD. THIS IS BEYOND INCREDIBLE. EVERYTHING IS POSSIBLE WITH GOD! AS I WATCHED HIM TEACHING HIS FIRST CLASS I HAD TO WALK AWAY IN TEARS AND SAY, MY LORD MY GOD! THANK YOU SO MUCH…   AS YOU CAN SEE IN THIS PICTURE BELOW HE IS TEACHING HIS FIRST BETHEL CLASS.

OK I COME TO THIS CONCLUSION PART NOW: MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS , ITS ALL RELY TO LUKE. CHAPTER 9:57…

Three would-be disciples and the subject is, “Following Jesus.” The first man says I will follow. To the second man Jesus says, “Follow Me.” The third man says, “I will follow.” Follow is the operative word here. It’s about following Jesus. That’s the subject. It’s about the high cost of following Jesus. It’s about what hinders people from following Jesus. Right at the core it’s about following Jesus.

Now we already know from Luke 9:23 that the standard for coming after Jesus is self-denial, self-sacrifice, and self-submission. You’re at the end of yourself, you have a beatitude attitude, you are mourning over your sinfulness, you are meek and humble because you understand the bankruptcy of your heart. . It’s that level of desperation that says I have come to the end of myself; I no longer want to associate with myself. It’s beating on my breast that I cry out to God to be merciful to me, a sinner, and to give me Christ as my Lord and my Savior, whom I will joyfully follow for the infinite value that comes to me.

AND A A PRAYER I FOLLW THIS MODEL::                                                                                        Father, we thank You this morning for the words of our precious Savior. . I’m sure that all over the world there are people who made a decision for Christ but are not following Jesus. People who were told that they could follow Jesus and hold on to the world, they could have it their way and they may think they’re saved but they’re not. I just ask, Lord, that You would bring clarity to the gospel, clarity to the invitations to THE WORLD. Protect us from altering the truth and therefore putting people unwittingly on the broad road that leads to destruction. Help us to evangelize the way Jesus did, call for total commitment. We know that that’s hard. It’s a hard message and it’s hard to believe. In fact, it’s impossible apart from the mighty work of the Holy Spirit. When the Holy Spirit sets out to do His work to convict of sin and righteousness and judgment and to break the sinner’s self-love and self-esteem and personal ambition, when the Holy Spirit does His work, part of His work is the grace and the mercy of self-denial. For those on whom the Spirit works, we need to be faithful to bring the true message, that the genuinely penitent and self-denying sinner who sees the infinite value of Christ may understand the truth of saving faith. Use us that way, we pray for Your glory. Amen.
